David is a journeyman carpenter, born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon.

David has not only refined his passion and skill set for leading crews as a project manager with his beloved team at
@solvestinc (a solid solar energy company based in the Yukon), he has also experienced hands on the power of a healthy workplace environment and developed cultural sensitivity collaborating with Indigenous communities. It is then only a natural extension for him to create a humane workplace that will strive to innovate and include a mindful portion of renewable energy to Upland Builds.
Add to his resume the mental strength and resiliency he has forged from his amateur boxing years, a recent ultra-marathon and from his time being dropped from helicopters at mountain tops staking claims and soil sampling and you’ve got a well-rounded, hard-working entrepreneur taking care of this company.
